Bob Cassar lives in Felton, California where he and his wife of thirty-seven years share a home with their cat, Evie. While running his construction business, Bob also began making hair sticks for his wife, Pam. Soon after friends were requesting special orders. 

The hair sticks are made from reclaimed wood (walnut, sapele, mahogany, redwood, pine, maple and cherry). Using a lathe the sticks are hand turned by Bob. Polyurethane is hand-rubbed on each stick to create a smooth finish which allows sticks to easily glide through hair. Two part epoxy resin is used to securely attach each bead to a steel wire at the top of the stick.
