Following a BA in Art Practice she worked in online advertising at Google for over a decade, and she illustrated on the side. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e​\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003ePrintmaking with her kids was a catalyst for Joan’s self-taught practice of linocut and relief printing.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eJoan practices her craft in her backyard art studio while raising three children and her pup Willow with her husband in Santa Cruz, CA.
