American Cheetah to Zanzibar Monkey: An Alphabet of Oddball Animals 2024

Peter Koronakos’ Oddball Animal Show is returning this July to Artisans & agency. This year’s show, entitled American Cheetah to Zanzibar Monkey; An Alphabet of Oddball Animals 2024, opens on July 1, and features another cast of 26 delightful, whimsical and/or humorous animals.

Peter researches each real animal he creates, and always seeks to show the true character of that animal, for instance, the “squirreliness” of a squirrel, or the “monkiness” of a monkey. This year’s show offers a two treasure hunts, one for adults and one for kids, to find the interesting reclaimed vintage objects featured in Peter’s work.

This year’s show includes an Axolotl, a Ural Owl, a Wild Mustang, a Snowshoe Hare, a Red Ruffled Lemur and a Jurassic Dinosaur, along with the twenty other animals that round out the alphabet. Come in and see all 26 at Artisans & agency in the month of July, or online.
