This charming, knitted bunny makes the most exquisite gift for loved ones or to add to your own collection. This darling soft sculpture will truly be cherished for her fuzzy companionship. With meticulously handcrafted workmanship, this bunny brings the enchanting warmth of wildlife to any home or nursery. This bunny has been thoughtfully designed and 100% handcrafted by me. Originally inspired by a Claire Garland knitting pattern, I constructed this bunny with her own unique pattern to portray her particular characteristics. Each bunny is lovingly assembled with only the finest natural fibers, including alpaca, mohair and silk. 6500 to 9500 stitches are delicately formed on each bunny and brought to life with love in a 30 to 50 hour process.
I make the eyes by casting UV resin and then paint them with acrylic and place them on the bunny with safety backs. To establish intricate detail and give realistic features, I deconstruct the yarn used into a carded wool. I then use a needle felting fiber art technique (which bits of wool are gradually sculpted by weaving them together with a barbed needle) to construct eyelids and blend around the eyes. I continue with this technique for the nose, toes, fluffy feet bottoms, and of course the tail. The measurements provided for this bunny are from the top of his head to the base of his tail.

As adorable as these bunnies are they are intended for indoor display purposes only. They should be kept away from children and pets. This is a piece of wildlife art, and will make a great gift for any occasion. This Bunny is a delicate piece of art and should be treated and handled as such. It is constructed with natural fibers that should not be sealed in any airtight compartment for an extended amount of time. Do not wash. Avoid contact with water.
