Chris Hinck is a visual artist based in Santa Cruz, California. After graduating with degrees in Fine Art and Biochemistry from UC Santa Cruz in 1991, Chris continued studying art at Cabrillo College, while working as a commercial fishing deckhand.
Painting receded to the background while raising a family and working as a General Contractor. But now, as an empty nester, he enjoys painting landscapes of places he has a connection to, like trails where he hikes or rides his bikes.
Chris works in acrylic and watercolor and actively practices figure drawing in
