Spring Cypress of Point Lobos 2024
18x24 Oil
A pleasant afternoon walking in Point Lobos along the Cypress Trail revealed this lovely flower laced cove. Trees reach toward the sun despite the ever present wind that shapes them and parts the persistent fog banks. Tied to the rocks cypress trees are icons of the central California coast.
This painting was inspired by the second date that I had with my now fiance. This place will always have a special place in my heart.
