Where the River Meets the Sea 2024

As the day comes to an end, light streams through the trees on the ridgetop. Mist from the ocean is heavy in the air and the breeze lightly shifts the fresh greens of spring time above the Gualala river on the Mendocino coast.
This has always been my favorite view of this river. It is harder to get to and paint from but the angle is undeniable. I was blessed to have such beautiful light that evening.
