Wild Wallflowers | First Friday at Artisans & agency 

This fall we’re going a little wild — with Wild Wallflowers, a show that shows wallpaper isn’t just for the wall!  Artist Emily Uchytil brings animals to life on vintage wallpaper.  Birds perched on florals, foxes framed in patterns, and critters that feel perfectly at home in their wallpaper worlds.

In the spirit of Spooky Season, the show features prints of some of our favorite animals — owls, bats, bears, oh my!  Emily’s love for the natural world shines through not just in her subjects, but in her process too — from archival prints made in her studio to note cards printed on recycled paper at a local wind-powered print shop.

While Emily can’t join us in person, her animals are ready to meet you! Stop by First Friday, October 3rd from 6–8pm, and discover some wild new wallpaper pals.
