FUNGUS FIRST FRIDAY

Artisans & Agency is pleased to bring back our Annual Fungus First Friday and Mushroom Month for the month of January!  Together with the Downtown Association, stores and restaurants and the Fungus Fair, we're celebrating January as Mushroom Month downtown.  Some of our fabulous participating artists include - Marie Gabrielle, Mike Bencze, Lauren Ringelman, Victoria Galitzine, Megan Eldredge, Ivy Chew, Diana Hartman & Maddy Grassi

The Santa Cruz Fungus Fair is a week-long focused community science effort in celebration of the mushrooms of the Santa Cruz Mountains. They've missed two years of the world-famous Fair, but this year they are going to replace it with a more nimble model. There is of course, no replacement for time spent in the field, engaging our sense and being in community with each other. But! The iNaturalist platform allows an online representation of what we see, touch, taste, and experience in the woods of our home county – allowing them to share and document an understanding of biodiversity much more richly than ever before.
