MARUCA

Maruca is a women-owned and women-run design studio just outside Denver, Colorado, where every bag is still hand cut, sewn in small batches, and never mass produced.

Their bags are made with jacquard fabric, which gives each piece its rich woven pattern and texture. The designs start as artwork — drawings, cut paper, collage, and reworked imagery — then come to life through collaborations with smaller independent U.S. fabric mills.

The fabrics vary by style and may include cotton, rayon, synthetics, and recycled fibers made from plastic bottles. The result is a bag that’s colorful, practical, artful, and ready to carry all the important stuff — wallet, keys, snacks, and maybe a few “just in case” extras.
