Diana Hartman makes dreamlike, slightly surreal art where animals, plants, found objects, and a good sense of humor all seem to know each other. Based in San Francisco and a part-time member of the Artisans team, she also helps shape our First Friday art shows. The image centers on a poppy with character, right in the sweet spot between charming and a little weird. The finished piece is 12" H x 6" W, a nice scale for a poppy with character.
