Diana Hartman makes dreamlike, slightly surreal art where animals, plants, found objects, and a good sense of humor all seem to know each other. Based in San Francisco and a part-time member of the Artisans team, she also helps shape our First Friday art shows. Here, a procession of quail gets Diana’s wonderfully strange storybook treatment.
