Color is the whole point here. Joan Pranata Bogart hand-presses bands of rainbow color onto Stonehenge printmaking paper, then adds her carved relief design once the first layer has dried.
The result has the small shifts in color and texture that make hand-pulled prints so good. Each print is signed and numbered by the Santa Cruz artist, with size and paper-color options varying by piece.
