Laurie Pollpeter Eskenazi gives old patterns a new life in clay. Inspired by crazy quilts, lace, button boxes, antique textiles, and generations of family needlework, she layers impressions into hand-built stoneware and brings them forward with saturated, beautifully detailed glazes. These larger hearts have the presence of small wall sculptures while still keeping Laurie’s playful, handmade character.
