Laurie Pollpeter Eskenazi’s ceramic hearts borrow their texture from the things she has loved since childhood — vintage lace, old textiles, buttons, and the needlework traditions of her grandmother and great-grandmother. She layers those impressions into stoneware clay, then builds color through detailed glaze work. The result is sculptural, nostalgic, and wonderfully individual.
