It all started with a Dragonfly tile for Motawi and they loved it so much that other small insects and animals were added to the line, including this Turtle, a Frog, a Butterfly, and a Bee. Motawi Tileworks makes each piece by hand in Ann Arbor, Michigan, continuing the studio tradition Nawal Motawi began in 1992.
